Katie Johannes Millitzer is an artist based in St. Louis Missouri. She creates paintings, sculptures, and animations. Described as - expressionistic surrealism -, her works typically contain animal imagery, are often narrative, and contain many contrasting and bright colors. Art and Sole Marathon

Art and Sole marathon mile markers: For the past 3 years (2005, 2006, 2007), I have collaborated with Rich Brooks and other amazing artists to create artistic mile markers for the Spirit of St. Louis marathon. In 2005 we made large sculptures to mark the miles, and for 2006 and 2007, we switched to giant running-themed paintings.
